Opt-out Right for California Consumers

What is the Opt-Out Right for California Consumers?

Effective January 1, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) provided new data privacy rights for California residents, including the right for consumers to opt-out of having their personal information “sold” as defined under the CCPA. As we explain in our Supplemental Privacy Statement on California Privacy rights of California Residents, the CCPA’s definition of “sale” is broad and includes sharing practices common among online businesses.

While EKWB does not sell personal information for money without your consent, we do share information for a variety of other purposes, such as to tailor your online experience or provide more relevant advertisements to you. You can tell us not to use your EKWB activity to customize advertising we may show you, whether on EKWB or anywhere else on the web, by opting out using the toggle below.

This Opt-Out is designed only for California Consumers, as defined by CCPA.

To opt-out of sharing your Personal Data with third parties for the purposes of targeted behavioural advertising, you can adjust your settings by clicking Manage Cookies, followed by button Settings

For more information about the personal information we collect and our sharing practices, please review our Privacy Policy. For California consumers, please also read our Supplemental Privacy Statement on California Privacy , which includes information about your rights and how to submit privacy requests. *In order for your opt-out choice to be associated with your EKWB account, please log in to your account before making your choice. If you are not logged in, the opt-out choice will only apply to your use of EKWB through the current browser you’re using and only so long as that browser’s cookies are not erased.
